ZAGREB, March 30 (Hina) - The Croatian National Parliament's President Zlatko Tomcic on Thursday held talks with the Apostolic Nuncio, Giulio Einaudi, on the implementation of agreements concluded between Zagreb and the Holy See, the
Sabor's public relations office said in a statement. Tomcic and Einaudi confirmed the signed agreements would not be changed but the Catholic Church is asked to show understanding for the dynamic of solutions of those issues which require substantial financial means. They agreed that ecumenism can help lessen national tension caused by the war in the last decade. The Sabor President said the issue of the return of refugees was not a political but economic issue that needs the financial assistance of the international community.
