ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - President of the Croatian Federation of Independent Trade Unions (SSSH) Davor Juric on Friday departed for the South African city of Durban to participate in the 17th world congress of the International
Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU), the SSSH reported. The document, which will be discussed at the congress, is headlined "the Millennium Challenge", and it refers to priorities, strategies, and the structure of the international trade unions' movement. Also discussed will be problems of women at work, the globalisation and employment of young employees. Juric is scheduled to participate in a discussion on social aspects of the Stability pact and problems of unionisation in countries of central and eastern Europe.(hina) it mm
