ZAGREB, March 28 (Hina) - Two officials of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Croatia on Tuesday visited the Association of Workers' Trade Unions of Croatia (URSH) for talks on the union's
position on the economic and social situation in Croatia, the URSH said in a statement. URSH president Boris Kunst briefed the Mission's head, Hans Ewe, and political observer Mika Makinen on the number of the unemployed, the increase in the number of employed people not receiving wages, the increase in the costs of living, the high number of bankrupt companies, and a URSH motion of measures for the elimination of amassed difficulties. Kunst asserted the government "must take concrete action, because it will not be possible to buy social peace with promises and threats."
