ZAGREB, March 23 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Goranko Fizulic on Thursday held separate meetings with the ambassadors of Slovakia and Spain, discussing economic co-operation between Croatia and the two countries. During talks
with Slovakia's Ambassador Jan Petrik on possibilities of further strengthening co-operation, Fizulic said the signing of a bilateral agreement on free trade was a condition for increasing trade between Croatia and Slovakia. Both officials concluded there was room for increasing economic co-operation, primarily in shipbuilding, the power industry, and transportation. and Spain, discussing economic co-operation between Croatia and
the two countries.
During talks with Slovakia's Ambassador Jan Petrik on
possibilities of further strengthening co-operation, Fizulic said
the signing of a bilateral agreement on free trade was a condition
for increasing trade between Croatia and Slovakia.
Both officials concluded there was room for increasing economic co-
operation, primarily in shipbuilding, the power industry, and
transportation.
Minister Fizulic acquainted the Slovakian ambassador with the

Mediterranean, and the introduction of container trains on the
Rijeka-Budapest line.
Fizulic's talks with Spanish Ambassador Antonio Padauye Gonzales
tackled trade between Croatia and Spain, and possibilities of
Spanish company investments in Croatia.
The fields of co-operation between the two countries are
telecommunications, the modernisation of railways and the
manufacturing of carriages, the modernisation and reconstruction
of the infrastructure, the power industry, the hotel business, and
shipbuilding.
The Spanish ambassador invited Fizulic and an economic delegation
to visit Spain in the autumn.
