ZAGREB, March 22 (Hina) - Chilean Ambassador to Croatia Patricio Rodriguez Renterio on Wednesday held talks with vice president of the Croatian National Sabor Zdravko Tomac. The Chilean Ambassador expressed concern about the demand
that an investigation commission regarding the purchase of the "Plava Laguna" chain of hotels. Renterio expressed concern about a statement by representatives of the Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS) in the House of Representatives that the investigation commission for Plava Laguna, purchased by Chilean entrepreneur of Croatian background Andronik Luksic, be established, read a statement issued by the Sabor public relations office. The Chilean Ambassador expressed concern about the demand that an
investigation commission regarding the purchase of the "Plava
Laguna" chain of hotels. Renterio expressed concern about a
statement by representatives of the Istrian Democratic Assembly
(IDS) in the House of Representatives that the investigation

According to the statement, Tomac said that nothing had been done in

Tomac and Rontario announced the exchange of parliamentary
delegations.
The statement read that Tomac also met Portuguese Ambassador to
Croatia Ana Barata. The two officials discussed Croatia's
interests in becoming a member of the Partnership for Peace
programme and in association with the European Union as soon as
possible. On behalf of Portugal, Barata expressed support for
Croatia's wishes, the statement read.
Tomac also held talks with Swiss Ambassador Paul Widmer and Turkish
Ambassador Selahattin Alpar on the promotion of political,
cultural and economic cooperation.
