CRO AMBASSADOR TO HOLLAND HOLD TALKS WITH ICTY PRESIDENT

THE HAGUE, March 7 (Hina) - Croatian Ambassador in the Netherlands Jaksa Muljacic on Tuesday held talks with the president of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Claude Jorda, on the sentence against general Tihomir Blaskic. The main topic of the talks, requested by Croatia, was the verdict against former commander of the Central Bosnia Operation Zone Tihomir Blaskic, the Croatian Ambassador said after the talks. Judge Claude Jorda is the president of the three-member Trial Chamber which found Blaskic guilty of crimes committed in Central Bosnia during Moslem-Croat conflicts and sentenced him to 45 years in prison. Ambassador Muljacic said he informed the ICTY president of the fact that Croatian authorities discovered new documents on the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina.(hina) it jn
