ANKARA ANKARA, March 6 (Hina) - A delegation of the Sabor's foreign policy committee, led by its head, Zdravko Tomac, on Monday morning held separate talks with the Speaker of Turkish Parliament (Meclis), Yildirim Akbulut and the head
of the Meclis's foreign policy committee, Kamran Inan. During the meetings in Ankara they pointed to the importance of furthering the current developed cooperation between the two countries. Turkish hosts and Croatian guests analysed the political situation in the region and their joint cooperation in Bosnia-Herzegovina. They agreed that it was important to support the bids of both Zagreb and Sarajevo to enter the European Union. Turkey, a long-standing NATO member, reiterated readiness to back Croatia's efforts aimed at its accession in the Partnership for Peace programme.(hina) jn ms
