ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Hina) - The newly appointed manager of the Croatian Intelligence Service (HIS) and deputy head of the Office for National Security (UNS) Ozren Zunec was born in Zagreb in 1950. He graduated from the Zagreb Philosophy
Faculty in 1973, majoring from philosophy and comparative literature. He earned his doctorate in philosophy at the same Faculty in 1985. Zunec has been working as a professor at the Zagreb Philosophy Faculty since 1991. During his visits abroad as a student, Zunec spent three months in Paris in 1981, and seven months in Bloomington in 1987. The 1994/1995 academic year, Zunec spent at the Yale University. He held several lectures at United States universities on social analysis of the war in Croatia and the development of the Croatian Armed Forces.
