ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - The Croatian government at Wednesday's closed session chaired by Premier Ivica Racan adopted amendments to a final bill on changes to the Law on the Organisation and Field of Activity of Ministries and State
Administrative Organisations. The amendments elaborate the fields of activity and authorities of certain ministries, and eliminate vague wording noticed in regulations of the said law, the government's Media and Public Relations Office said in a statement. The government also formulated a bill on the re-scheduling of working hours on February 7, according to which Monday's presidential run-off is a non-working day. Employers, physical legal entities are obligated to re-schedule the non-working day within 30 days, or within six months at the latest. Parliament should enact the bill in the course of this week, and failing to do so, the government may issue a decree law.(hina) ha
