CRO GOVT ADOPTS MINE-CLEARING PLAN FOR THIS YEAR

ZAGREB, Jan 13 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday adopted a plan for the demining of Croatian state territory in the course of this year, the government's Media and Public Relations Office said in a statement. The financial part of the plan covers only the three-month period of the temporary budget. The government ratified an agreement on air transport between the governments of Croatia and the Czech Republic, and agreements with the Slovak government on veterinary cooperation and cooperation in vegetal quarantine and the protection of plants. Also adopted were reports on negotiations on social insurance agreements with Hungary and France. In order to step up transport and cut costs, the government granted permission for the temporary rail transport of goods until Croatia and neighbouring Bosnia-Herzegovina sign an agreement regulating border rail traffic.
