Ministry workers. Kraljevic said he had been informed about the situation in all sectors of the Ministry. The situation in science is difficult, Kraljevic said, because a small amount of budgetary funds had been set aside for science. The result is that many things were hindered in science, including debts to science projects, subscriptions to foreign scientific magazines for the past year, and debts towards scientific institutions for the so-called "cold fuel". The system in science must evidently be regulated, Kraljevic said. He stressed that bases for this existed in the electoral programme of the winning SDP-HSLS coalition which stipulates that more budgetary funds would be set aside for science, although the
