ZAGREB, Jan 28 (Hina) - The newly-appointed Croatian Education and Sports Minister Vladimir Strugar took over his duties from former Minister Nansi Ivanisevic on Friday. The transfer of office was done on time and I suggested the
basic documents about the work of the Ministry together with the former Minister, Strugar said. He added that he, however, did take several days to thoroughly read through all documents, and Ivanisevic was available to explain any possible lack of clarity. Strugar will, he said, be able to speak about the plans of the Ministry in several days. He had agreed with his assistants Friday that an exact programme of the work of the Ministry should be set on Monday, and then forwarded to the Government. Asked about his future cooperation with unions, Strugar said he would advocate the idea of dialogue and agreement.(hina) lml
