SIX PARTIES MOTION DELEGATION OF DUTIES AT PARLIAMENT LOWER HOUSE

ZAGREB, Jan 21 (Hina) - Representatives of six Croatian parties on Friday motioned the delegation of duties at the Croatian National Parliament House of Representatives in accordance with the results of January 3 parliamentary polls. The Lower House has a total of 21 working bodies and the victorious Social Democratic Party (SDP) - Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) coalition will receive ten chairman and deputy chairman seats each, four parties (Croatian People's Party, HNS, Croatian Peasants' Party, HSS, Liberal Party, LS, and the Istrian Democratic Assembly, IDS) four each. the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) will receive five and the Croatian party of rights - Croatian Christian Democratic Union coalition one each, as will MPs of national minorities. The new president and vice-presidents of the Parliament will be delegated by party presidents, Mato Arlovic of the SDP said. The Lower House will have five vice-presidents, of which two will be from the ranks of the HDZ, the strongest opposition party.
