"I care about the new parliament and government being constituted as soon as possible because we must not allow vacuum to occur in exercising authority," Pavletic said, adding he intended to start separate talks with the leaders of all parties which entered the parliament as of Monday, "so that we can consider the constitution of the new parliament." "I will not talk only with Racan and Budisa but with all leaders of the Opposition Four, the temporary president of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), and the leaders of the Right-Christian- Democrat coalition," he added. Pavletic reminded that the House of Representatives had to be constituted 20 days after the announcement of final election results at the latest. Repeating the voting at 11 polling stations (scheduled for January 16) will prolong this procedure. (hina) rml
