SARAJEVO, Jan 20 (Hina) - Croatia has an important role in the implementation of the Dayton Agreement, however, its previous regime did not play the best role in the peace process in Bosnia-Herzegovina, High Representative for
Bosnia-Herzegovina Wolfgang Petritsch said on Thursday. He expressed belief that after the victory of the Opposition at elections the time of deep changes was to follow. In an interview, published in Thursday's issue of Sarajevo weekly "Slobodna Bosna", Petritsch said it was clear that Croatia, based on its Constitution, had the right and obligation to take care of Croats outside of Croatia, adding, however, that its previous authorities went too far manipulating with Bosnian Croats in order to implement Zagreb's interests. Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina must realise that they live in a sovereign state and that they are one of the three constituent nations

Petritsch said on Thursday.
He expressed belief that after the victory of the Opposition at
elections the time of deep changes was to follow.
In an interview, published in Thursday's issue of Sarajevo weekly
"Slobodna Bosna", Petritsch said it was clear that Croatia, based
on its Constitution, had the right and obligation to take care of
Croats outside of Croatia, adding, however, that its previous
authorities went too far manipulating with Bosnian Croats in order
to implement Zagreb's interests.
Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina must realise that they live in a
sovereign state and that they are one of the three constituent
nations and not the Croatian Diaspora, Petritsch said.
