During a morning walk through central Zagreb, accompanied by the
members of his electoral headquarters, Granic talked to citizens
and answered their questions.
Granic said he had the most clear vision of what the President of
Croatia should do and announced that he would do all in his power to
see that the rule of law is reinforced and that Croatia is
integrated into Euro-Atlantic associations. Should he be elected

Granic said the turnout at his pre-electoral rallies was very good
and his electorate was big. He stressed that he enjoyed the support
of the party leadership and branches in Croatia and abroad.
According to opinion polls carried out by his headquarters,
Granic's chances in the presidential campaign were increasing,
which was an encouraging sign ahead of his duels with other
candidates.
Granic said that he expected Drazen Budisa or Stipe Mesic to be his
rivals in the second round.
The electorate is fluctuating, the candidates' ratings are
becoming increasingly similar and decisions will be made in the
last three days, Granic assessed.
