ZAGREB, Jan 13 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa on Thursday said that the handover and acceptance between his government and a government which will be formed by the Social Democratic Union (SDP) / Croatian Social
Liberal Party (HSLS) coalition, would be conducted as previously agreed. "We had constructive talks with Ivica Racan and Goran Granic and everything that was agreed will be implemented", Matesa told reporters after today's closed session of the Croatian Government. He said this included a clear picture of all ministries, documents on projects and jobs in process and those which were to be implemented, as well as the issue whether they would be implemented, because it depended on the composition of a future government. Matesa on Monday held talks with Racan and Goran Granic on the
handover and acceptance. This was the first meeting of the current
and the future Prime Minister which discussed the handover and
acceptance. The talks will continue.
Croatia's acting president Vlatko Pavletic on Wednesday announced
he would give Ivica Racan the mandate to compose the new government
on January 22. In case of complaints, Racan will be given the
mandate on January 27, Pavletic said.
