Liberal Party (HSLS) president Drazen Budisa, as well as Croatian
Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa and Economy Minister Nenad Porges,
warning them about the danger of Badel workers' strike for the
company.
Scherr called on Racan, Budisa, Matesa and Porges to undertake
legal measures to enable a continuation of production.
Scherr stressed that due to a strike staged by about 350 employees
and members of the company's administrative board, Badel 1862's
work has been hindered because of a "group of illegal strikers" who
on December 8 blocked a production line in Zagreb and on Monday
another production line, not allowing employees to their working
stations.
Scherr claims that the strike ad caused Badel million kuna damage,
pushing the company to foreclosure, and a loss of jobs for
employees.
