ZAGREB, Jan 8 (Hina) - The aim of Drazen Budisa's presidential campaign is the realisation of complete changes in Croatia through his election as the new president of state, Jozo Rados, a member of Budisa's electoral headquarters,
said in Zagreb on Saturday. Rados announced that Budisa, the presidential candidate of the SDP/HSLS coalition which won recent parliamentary elections, would tour about a hundred towns and villages in a rented double-decker bus. The campaign will be modest, direct, and simple, he told reporters. "The goal of the campaign is to effect complete changes in Croatia, and the election of Drazen Budisa for president is a necessary condition for doing so," Rados said. He reiterated the SDP/HSLS coalition expected Budisa to win in the first electoral round on January 24, and called on Croats to approach the presidential election as seriously as the parliamentary one on

Rados announced that Budisa, the presidential candidate of the
SDP/HSLS coalition which won recent parliamentary elections, would
tour about a hundred towns and villages in a rented double-decker
bus. The campaign will be modest, direct, and simple, he told
reporters.
"The goal of the campaign is to effect complete changes in Croatia,
and the election of Drazen Budisa for president is a necessary
condition for doing so," Rados said.
He reiterated the SDP/HSLS coalition expected Budisa to win in the
first electoral round on January 24, and called on Croats to
approach the presidential election as seriously as the
parliamentary one on January 3.
Some US$130,000 will be invested in Budisa's campaign, and his
electoral headquarters is sure half the amount will come from the
state budget, given that each candidate with at least ten percent of
the vote has been ensured US$67,000.
Budisa bus will canvass around Croatia and hold direct talks with
local residents. Major rallies will be held in Osijek, Rijeka,
Split, and Zadar.
One pre-electoral commercial will be aired on television and radio,
and from his bus, Budisa will daily chat on-line with voters via the
Internet.
Budisa's campaign begins on Tuesday, January 11, with a tour of the
north of the country.
