In Ramuscak's opinion, six representatives from the Diaspora list
could be in the new composition of the Croatian National Sabor. He
added that the final results will be announced after the votes from
Chile and Venezuela, and after the new voting process in the 11th
unit.
Of ten electoral units in Croatia, and according to data for all
polling stations, the Social Democrati Party (SDP) / Croatian
Social Liberal Party (HSLS) lists gathered the majority of votes in
none units, while the HDZ list is leading in only one unit, the
fifth.
The SDP-HSLS realised the most convincing lead in the first
electoral unit, where it received 50.57 percent of votes. The HDZ
list won 21.39 percent, while the Opposition Four list won 12.13
percent of votes.
In the second constituency the SDP-HSLS list gathered 42.41 percent
of votes, followed by the HDZ with 23.8 percent, and the Opposition
Four with 17.95 percent.
According to the latest returns, the SDP-HSLS coalition was in the
lead with 46.11 percent in the third electoral unit. HDZ won 21.57
percent and the Opposition Four won 15.55 percent.
In the fourth electoral unit the SDP-HSLS coalition was leading
with 38 percent. HDZ was in second place with 24.04 percent, and the
Opposition Four gathered 14.58 percent. The coalition of the HSP
(Croatian Party of Rights) and the HKDU (Croatian Christian
Democratic Union) managed to cross the threshold winning 8.18
percent.
The list of the HDZ with 30.75 percent was in the lead in the fifth
constituency. The SDP-HSLS was behind it with 26.62 percent whereas
the Opposition Four won 19.09 percent. The fourth list that passed
the threshold was of the HSP-HKDU coalition with 6.37 percent.
In the sixth unit, the SDP-HSLS coalition won 44.75 percent and the
HDZ 23.56 percent. The Opposition Four was on the third place with
12.18 percent while the HSP-HKDU coalition was won 6.26 percent.
Returns from the seventh electoral unit showed the SDP-HSLS winning
with 43.97 percent of votes. The HDZ list gathered 25.04 percent of
votes. The Opposition Four had 12.38 percent and the HSP-HKDU
passed the threshold winning 5.83 percent.
The SDP-HSLS list was leading in the eight constituency with 41.47
percent. The Opposition Four was behind them with 30.92 percent,
while the HDZ was the third with 14.35 percent.
In the ninth constituency the SDP-HSLS coalition again took a
narrow lead with 32.71 percent. The list of the HDZ was closely
behind them with 31.65 percent. Another two lists, out of 28 applied
at the election, passed the threshold and those were the Opposition
Four with 11.15 percent and the HSP-HKDU with 7.76 percent.
Out of 30 lists offered to voters in the tenth electoral unit three
lists passed the threshold. The first was the SDP-HSLS coalition
with 40.59 percent. The HDZ was trailing with 28.02 percent. The
Opposition Four was on the third place with 9.62 percent.
The Hungarian minority will most likely be represented by Tibor
Santo, the Serbian by Milan Djukic, the Italian by Furio Radin, the
Czech and Slovakian by Zdenka Cuhnil, while Borislav Kraljuk will
represent the Austrian, German, Ruthanian, Ukrainian, and Jewish
minorities.
Ramuscak said that data from all polls in Bosnia-Herzegovina had
been processes, however, he could not determine how many of 120,000
voters from the Diaspora were from Bosnia-Herzegovina.
