YUGOSLAVIA WILL STRENGTHEN RELATIONS WITH BH AND REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO, Dec 18 (Hina) - Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica said on Tuesday his country will strengthen cooperation with Bosnia-Herzegovina, a sovereign and integral country, but at the same time Yugoslavia will strengthen special relations with Republika Srpska. We recognise Bosnia-Herzegovina as a sovereign and integral country, as established by the Dayton Agreement, but the agreement clearly defines the existence of the entities within Bosnia- Herzegovina, Kostunica said in Sarajevo. During talks among senior Yugoslav and Bosnian officials, practically all issues on cooperation between the two countries were tackled, the chairman of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency, Jozo Krizanovic, said. Yugoslav Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic and Bosnian counterpart Zlatko Lagumdzija signed two agreements - on the protection and promotion of investments and customs services' co-operation. Krizanovic said the two countries should soon sign a series of agreements, such as an agreement on avoiding double taxation and joint infrastructure projects.
