BELGRADE, Dec 3 (Hina) - In line with a decree of Yugoslav president Vojislav Kostunica, Milan Simurdic is appointed Yugoslav Ambassador to Croatia. Simurdic's appointment has been suggested three months ago and his appointment was officially confirmed on Monday and published in the Yugoslav National Gazette. Simurdic does not belong to any political party. He was born in the southern Croatian city of Split in 1953. He attended elementary and a part of high school in the northern Adriatic town of Pula.
