ZAGREB, Dec 5 (Hina) - The Government has determined the state budget for next year and it will not change or give it up, Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Wednesday evening. Speaking after a meeting of the ruling five-party
coalition at the Croatian parliament, Racan reminded that acceptable budgetary expenses had already been defined and could not be changed. He reminded that last year's budget was lower than the one in 1999 and the government intended to continue reducing expenses this year as well, Racan said. He expressed satisfaction with today's meeting, which, along with the presidents and whips of the ruling parties, was also attended by Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac, First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic and Deputy Prime Minister Slavko Linic.
