PRISTINA, Nov 24 (Hina) - The UN Civil Administrator in Kosovo, Hans Haekkerup, declared and signed the official results of the Kosovo parliamentary vote of November 17 on Saturday afternoon. The first session of the Kosovo parliament
has been scheduled for December 10. Ibrahim Rugova's Kosovo Democratic Alliance won the most seats - 47. The party is followed by the Kosovo Democratic Party, with 26 seats, the Serb coalition 'Povratak' (Return), which won 12 seats plus 10 previously reserved seats, the Alliance for Kosovo's Future with eight seats, the Bosniak coalition 'Vatan', with one seat plus three previously reserved ones, the Turkish Democratic Party, with one seat plus two reserved. Two parliamentary seats each were won by the New Kosovo Democratic Initiative and the Party of Askalije Kosovo Albanians. Senior international officials described the Kosovo elections as
very successful, stressing they were held in line with the highest
international standards and included all Kosovo communities.
Of a total of 1,249,987 eligible voters, 803,796 or 63.30% took part
in the vote.
