RIJEKA, Nov 26 (Hina) - The main hearing in the trial against retired General Mirko Norac and four men from "the Gospic group", accused of war crimes against civilians in Gospic at the end of 1991, has been postponed at the Rijeka
County Court again Monday, due to defenders' request for exemption of the Panel of Judges chairwoman, Ika Saric, and the County Court's president Slavko Petric. Upon receiving written requests for exemption, Saric decided December 3 to be the date for a new hearing, if the Supreme Court does not accept the motions. The first hearing was held on June 25, but due to various defenders' motions, the main hearing has so far been postponed five times.(hina) np sb
