premiers of the so-called quadrilateral initiative, which includes Croatia, Italy, Hungary, and Slovenia, held in the Italian seaport today. At the meeting, Croatia took over the presidency over the initiative. The four prime ministers discussed cooperation in internal affairs, culture, transport, science, and technology. It was agreed competent ministers would meet by January to evaluate the cooperation, said Racan. The next meeting of the quadrilateral initiative will take place in the southern Croatian seaport of Dubrovnik next spring, he announced. Racan also arranged a meeting with Italian counterpart Silvio Berlusconi, but did not reveal the date.
