TRIESTE, Nov 2 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister on Thursday held talks with her counterparts from countries, members of the Quadrilateral (Croatia, Italy, Hungary and Slovenia). The talks focused on the current situation in
the South-East of Europe, international efforts in the fight against terrorism and concrete cooperation within the quadrilateral. The four also spoke about preparations for the upcoming summit meeting. The two-day summit of the Central European Initiative (CEI) in Trieste will begin on Thursday evening with a meeting among foreign ministers of the 17 member-countries, including Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula. Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan will be arriving in Trieste on Friday morning. Croatia joined the Quadrilateral last year. It will be presiding over the CEI next year.(hina) lml
