ZAGREB, Nov 14 (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union's (HDZ) parliamentary bench on Wednesday asked Zdravko Tomac, deputy parliamentary speaker, for a public apology because he addressed the HDZ members at one round table as
Talibans. Tomac called the HDZ members Talibans, which means terrorists, killers, bandits, and these are harsh qualifications for which he has to apologise, Vladimir Seks said on behalf of the HDZ bench. He added Tomac made these comments at a round table of the "Novi List" and "Glas Slavonije" newspapers after the HDZ proposed a delay in the signing of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union until all necessary information on the Agreement was gathered. Parliamentary speaker Zlatko Tomcic did not allow a discussion on this topic, announcing it would be possible to publicly speak about it in the afternoon part of the 18th session.
