Alexandra Stiglmayer said at a press conference in Sarajevo.
Until now, it was possible to watch programmes on the first and
second HTV channel owing to land transmitters installed during or
after the war in Bosnia. These transmitters were used by the Mostar
TV station "Erotel" until it was shut down, after which the federal
television was given the transmitters and a broadcasting licence.
Stiglmayer said the Croatian Radio-Television (HRT) management had
been informed about all details regarding the discontinuation of
the HTV programme in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and one should not look
for political motives behind this process.
The federal television will broadcast its programmes on two
channels, with Croatian and Bosnian languages being used equally.
