KARLOVAC BUS STATION KARLOVAC, Oct 13 (Hina) - The central bus station in Karlovac, some 50 km south of Zagreb, was closed between 2.15 and 3.45 pm on Saturday due to a false phone tip-off about two bombs being planted at the station.
At 2.15 pm an employee received an anonymous phone call from a man who claimed two bombs would go off at the station within half an hour. She contacted the police, who evacuated all passengers and buses. Arriving buses were redirected to another location in the town. Using two dogs trained to discover explosive, the police searched the station but found no explosive devices. The station was reopened for traffic.
