CROATIA AND SLOVENIA DISCUSS BORDER TRAFFIC

ZAGREB, Oct 15 (Hina) - Croatian and Slovene representatives on Monday discussed the execution of the Agreement on Border Traffic and Cooperation between Croatia and Slovenia, the Croatian Foreign Ministry reported. Representatives of relevant ministries in charge of the implementation of the agreement which came into effect on September 5 met at the Croatian Foreign Ministry building. "The significance of the work of the future permanent joint commission envisaged for the implementation of the agreement was accentuated during the meeting," the statement said. "Deadlines for issuing border cards and other documents will be established pursuant to additional consultations". The decisions on opening border crossings for border traffic will be made by the two countries' governments, at the suggestion of the permanent joint commission.
