ZAGREB, Oct 4 (Hina) - Croatia and Yugoslavia have agreed on a preliminary contingent of 10,000 permits for bilateral and transit cargo transport and 1,000 permits for transport service to and from the third countries in the year
2002. The two sides also agreed on 2,000 permits for bilateral and transit transport and 200 permits for transport to and from the third countries for this year, the Croatian Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications said in a statement on Thursday. A joint commission for international road transport, which met in Belgrade on Wednesday, established there was a large number of requests for bilateral passenger transport on both sides. The meeting was chaired by Croatia's Mijo Bezer, assistant minister for road transport, and Yugoslavia's Olivera Medar, assistant minister for traffic and telecommunications.(hina) sb rml
