ZAGREB, Sept 27 (Hina) - In coming months, the government will continue analysing the impact of a revision of Croatian Telecom (HT) rates on the accounts of users and HT's income earnings. The government has requested competent bodies
and ministries to say if the new rates were passed in line with the law. According to an Economy Ministry analysis of the new rates' effect, the monthly telephone bill has increased by an average 12.97 percent for citizens, from 149 to 168 kuna, and decreased by 8.5 percent for companies, from 580 to 530 kuna. The new rates have increased HT's turnover by 9.19 percent, which totals 27.8 million kuna. While inter-county and international calls now bring in less income earnings, local calls have increased them by 32 million kuna. The monthly subscription fee brings in 20.5 million more than before.
