KARLOVAC, Sept 25 (Hina) - The main hearing in the case against Zdravko Pasic, on the run, and Milan Grubjesic, detained, began at the Karlovac County Court on Tuesday. The two are indicted of war crimes against civilians. Pavic was a
member of a (Serb) Chetnik unit during the Croatian Homeland Defence War, and Grubjesic a member of the municipal authorities of the then so-called Serb autonomous zone of Krajina. The two are accused of having abducted Dragutin Krusic from a health centre in Slunj and killing him. Grubjesic said at the arraignment he was not involved in Krusic's murder and denied any military action on his part. The trial continues on November 13 when witnesses will be heard.(hina) lml
