WASHINGTON, Sept 14 (Hina) - Among the victims of Tuesday's terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre in New York ate two Americans of Croatian origin -- Domenic Mircovich and Alfred Vukosa. They are officially considered missing, as
they were neither found among the wounded in hospitals, nor among those killed. Mircovich was born 40 years ago in Hoboken, New Jersey. His parents are originally from the island of Susak in Croatia. He worked at the Eurobrokers company on the 86th floor of the south tower of the WTC building. After the aeroplane hit the first WTC building, he managed to contact his niece by telephone and tell her he would try to evacuate the building. Alfred Vukosa, 37, lived in new York with his wife and two children. His parents are also from Croatia. Vukosa was working on the 103rd floor of the WTC building into which the aeroplane flew.(hina) lml
