ZAGREB, Sept 5 (Hina) - Tourist business in Croatia this year will increase by 10 to 15 percent, the Tourism Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday. According to official data, in the first seven months of 2001 4.4 million tourists
arrived in Croatia, or 13 percent more than in the same period the year before. The number of overnight stays amounted to 23.2 million, which represents an increase of 15 percent. The number of organised arrivals and overnight stays made by foreign tourists increased by 18 percent or 21 percent in relation to the year before, which was expected considering the implementation of a zero Value Added Tax rate for organised foreign arrivals. The tourist business, particularly foreign guests, recorded a greater increase in the early than during the main summer season. 2000. Slovenes, Czech and Austrians follow. The greatest increase
in relation to the year before was made by tourists from Poland,
