ZAGREB, Aug 27 (Hina) - A body co-ordinating Croatian war veterans associations on Monday most resolutely rejected the government's measures of social policy for this and next year, saying it cannot accept the burden of the
government's failed budgetary policy being shifted to war veterans. A statement 14 war veterans' associations issued after today's meeting reads the government's measures are most detrimental to those who deserve most credit for the establishment of independent Croatia. The war veterans associations have supported partnership with the government but they have also announced that they will reconsider an agreement on cooperation signed with the War Veterans' Ministry in March this year due to the reduction of war veterans' rights.(hina) sb rml
