continues to respect the cease-fire agreement despite the latest

NLA's Main Staff commander, General Gezim Ostreni, told Kosovo
television on Monday evening.
The NLA has been making efforts to respect the cease-fire and the
implementation of tasks taken over by its political representative
Ali Ahmeti. Albanian guerrillas will do all in order to maintain the
cease-fire and help create conditions for NATO's arrival in
Macedonia, he said.
Albanians in Macedonia have demonstrated political will to
implement peace, but such readiness has not been demonstrated by
Macedonians, said Ymer Ymeri, head of the Party of Democratic
Prosperity, one of the leading Macedonian Albanian parties.
Ymeri asserted that Albanians have welcomed the arrival of NATO,
unlike Macedonians, who he believes fear that Albanians would take
over their country with the arrival of NATO.
