In the clashes one 11-year-old girl lost her life, seven civilians sustained injures and five policemen were hurt. One reserve member of the Macedonian forces was killed at the check-point of Strezimir, on the Macedonian-Kosovo border, the same source said. Sever fighting was reported from the villages of Neprosteno, Lesok, Tearce and Glogi. US special envoy James Pardew condemned the Tetovo fighting.
