CRO PRESIDENT AND FOREIGN MINISTER OFFER CONDOLENCES TO PODGORICA

ZAGREB, Aug 8 (Hina) - Croatia's President Stjepan Mesic on Wednesday extended his deepest condolences to Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic on the death of ten people who lost lives in Monday's road accident, Mesic's Office stated. On Monday afternoon, ten persons were killed and 12 sustained injuries in a chain collision at the Podgorica-Cetinje road, when a trailer truck with Croatian licence plates and driven by a Croatian citizen moved into the other lane of the road and hit a car coming from the opposite direction. It is still unknown why the Croatian driver moved into the other lane. On behalf of the Croatian government and on his own behalf, Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula on Tuesday sent a message of condolences to his Montenegrin counterpart, Branko Lukovac.(hina) ms
