NUSTAR, July 31 (Hina) - Two mine removal experts lost their lives while de-activating mines in a mine field near Vinkovci, eastern Croatia, on Tuesday afternoon. These two experts - Mario Ostajmer (31) and Franjo Cerancevic (36)-who
worked for a mine removal company called Mungos, were killed in a strong explosion at about 03.50 pm Tuesday. According to police superintendent Marijan Tomurad, it seems that several anti-tank mines exploded in this accident. The explosion tore the men and blew a hole deep 1.5 metre and wide some 3 metres, Tomurad said adding the police will search for parts of the corpses after an on-the-spot investigation.
