ZAGREB, July 7 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Ivo Sanader, said on Saturday evening he informed Prime Minister Ivica Racan about the opposition of his party to the hand-over of any Croatian citizen on
the basis of their superior and objective responsibility. After an hour-long meeting with Racan at the government building in Zagreb, Sanader told reporters Croatia was the victim of the (Serbian) aggression and could not be treated as if "everybody has done everybody wrong and as though everybody should apologise to everybody." The HDZ leader also said it was necessary to reach a national consensus on Croatia's relations and cooperation with the Hague tribunal. The HDZ insists that the parliament start a debate on the latest developments in relations with the Hague, he reiterated. Granic informed Racan about his party's view that cooperation with
the Hague should be discussed with opposition parties.
Racan's meeting with Sanader and Granic was held late this
afternoon, during a break in today's extraordinary government
session.
The session was discontinued around 6 p.m. and is expected to resume
