THE HAGUE, July 3 (Hina) - Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic early Tuesday morning arrived in the building of the war crimes tribunal in The Hague (ICTY) for his initial court appearance, ICTY spokesman Chris Chartier told
Hina. Numerous reporters outside Scheveningen prison saw four cars leaving in convoy and shortly afterwards pulling into the court building. The ICTY spokesman on Monday confirmed Milosevic was not going to call any lawyers to appear before the tribunal due to the fact that he does not recognise the tribunal. The former Yugoslav president is due to be arraigned at 10 a.m. for crimes against humanity committed during ethnic cleansing in Kosovo in 1999. The judge will ask Milosevic how he pleads. (hina) it
