THE HAGUE, July 3 (Hina) - Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic made his initial appearance before the Hague war crimes tribunal on Tuesday morning but said the court is "illegal" and refused legal counsel. The panel of
judges, which is presided over by Judge Richard May, recorded Milosevic's refusal to enter his plea to charges of crimes committed in Kosovo in 1999 as a plea of not guilty to all counts of the indictment. Judge May scheduled the next hearing for August 27.(hina) rml
