The protesters demanded that the ruling majority and the international community see to it that disputable decisions be withdrawn by 1 July and that representatives of the two HDZ parties, who won a majority of the vote in the local Croat electorate, be included in the governing structures.
The rally was organised by the HDZ BiH and the HDZ 1990 and was supported by six associations of Bosnian Croat war veterans who demanded that the process of the establishment of the cantonal government should be started anew.
HDZ BiH official Nikola Lovrinovic said that they also demanded that the Constitutional Court of the Federation (Bosnian Muslim-Croat entity) should make a ruling on four appeals lodged following the latest developments in that canton.
The new government in this canton consists of the pro-Bosniak Social Democratic Party and the Bosniak Party of Democratic Action, supported by another three parties.
