DUBROVNIK DUBROVNIK, June 29 (Hina) - The seventh international economic conference on countries in transition, organised by the Croatian National Bank, ended in the southern Adriatic town of Dubrovnik on Friday. The two-day
conference gathered about 80 experts, including representatives of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and numerous other financial institutions. Croatian Central Bank deputy governor Boris Vujcic said the conference was significant because it gathered eminent experts from countries in transition and those which are not in transition but were faced with same or similar problems. International Monetary Fund (IMF) executive director Biford Vhynhold said Croatia did a lot in the past six months, adding the IMF always dedicated special attention to the state budget issue.
