PRISTINA, June 18 (Hina) - A Yugoslav-Russian proposal on a Balkan conference on Kosovo provoked negative reactions of Albanian leaders in Kosovo on Monday. A vice-president of the strongest Albanian party, Democratic Alliance of
Kosovo, Kol Berisha, described as unacceptable the proposal of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who yesterday visited Kosovo, and Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica, on the organisation of a regional conference on Kosovo. "Decisions about Kosovo will be made in Pristina, Washington, Berlin and other European capitals and not on the basis of the Kostunica-Putin proposal," Berisha said. Senior members of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Alliance for Kosovo's Future, Fatmir Lima and Adrian Gjini, refused the proposal as well.(hina) rml
