ANGERS, June 16 (Hina) - On the second day of his visit to France, Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Saturday in Angers met representatives of local self-government and businessmen from the Maine-et-Loire province, to informed them of
changes in Croatia's interior organisation. Mesic told the Maine-et-Loire representatives, headed by prefect and prime minister of the province government Andre Lardeux, that after the January 3, 2000 election, the semi-presidential system in Croatia changed into parliamentary, which is very similar to the French. In his speech, Mesic expressed belief there were real possibilities for cooperation between Croatia and French departments, particularly in wine industry, agriculture and tourism. Later today, the Croatian President will visit Paris and the
Croatian Embassy and is scheduled to give an interview to French
