ZAGREB, June 1 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament on Friday morning continued its 12th session with a discussion of MPs on a bill of amendments to the Telecommunications Law which envisages greater independence of the Croatian
Telecommunications Institute. During Thursday's discussion led by parliamentary benches, participants in the debate said the changes would lead to greater financial independence of this body which controlled the telecommunications market, but the institute would remain under the political influence of the government which would be able to exert more impact on it, according to the draft amendments. The Sabor is going to discuss a draft act on the subsidised house-building and draft amendments to the islands law today as well.(hina) ms
