ZAGREB, May 17 (Hina) - Croatia and the European Union signed an agreement on textile trade, as part of trade liberalisation, thus annulling export quota for Croatian textile producers, the Foreign Ministry said Thursday. "The textile
products trade agreement annuls amount quota for the export of textile products from Croatia to the EU market, which opens up the path towards better export of this type of product and represents a significant stimulation to the Croatian textile industry, as most part of Croatian exports of textile products is intended for the EU market," the statement said. Croatian Ambassador Vladimir Drobnjak also signed five operations as part of European cooperation in scientific and technical research (COST). The goal of COST operations is the coordination of national research at a European level, and Croatia is actively participating in more than 30 of them, in the fields of transport, telecommunications
